ABOUT ALLISON
CONNECTION. HOPE. INSPIRATION. This is what I love to create with!

Thank you for stopping by! My husband Daniel Patrick and I met at U.W. in 1998 and he has always been a tremendous encourager of my passion for creativity and in most recent years as I’ve gotten back into art and started creating and selling my art. I am so thankful for him and couldn’t share without mentioning his support! We are tucked in a hillside of Cashmere, Washington with our 4 school aged kids and marvel daily at the beauty surrounding this area. Thankful, inspired and hopeful, are words that proceed from our mouths in a constant flow and which I try to weave into each piece I create.
I spent most of my time as a child loving all types of creativity and it felt like a dream to be able to focus on art in college. I remember growing up just loving anything that had to do with creating, rather than playing dolls, and practicing calligraphy and watercolor as I discovered artists such as Timothy Botts. In college, artists of the middle ages with their ‘illuminated manuscripts’ and the last class before graduation, was in printmaking, completely fascinated me.  I have found those experiences to be the most informative and inspirational in my current watercolor landscape process. These processes have inspired and worked their way into how I express the thoughts, prayers, and beauty I try to communicate in my own style and technique.
What lives even deeper in every piece of art for me, is inspiration from the Creator. Creativity for me is a form of worship, and I hope that each piece you encounter here breathes a fresh hope into your life as well.
